Throwback Thursday: Procurement, critical thinking and communication with Joël Collin-Demers

On today’s #CoffeeWithConvery podcast we are continuing the series “Throwback Thursday” where I bring onto the show students and young talent that I met years ago and to see where they are now.

My guest today is Joël Collin-Demers is a 2012 graduate of HEC Montréal with a Bachelor of Business and Administration, Information Technology. Joël also spent time on a 6 month exchange program with HEC Montreal at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane Australia. Joël also hold a Post-Graduate Certificate for Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Robert Gordon University.

Joël has spent his entire career focused on being a “translator” between Procurement and IT. If there’s a way to minimize uncertainty while avoiding painful and costly mistakes Joël is the guy. Over the course of his career, Joël has contributed to 15+ long-term procurement transformation and system implementation projects with dozens of clients across 8 different industries.
