Today I'm thrilled to be joined by Mathias Memmel 👨⚖️, a lawyer at Fasken specializing in litigation and dispute resolution ⚖️.
Mathias brings a unique and multifaceted perspective to our conversation. He holds a Doctor of Law degree from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School 🎓, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Political Science 💻🏛️, and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance 🎵, both from the University of Toronto.
His diverse background includes serving as President of the University of Toronto Students' Union 🎓, working as a Communications Advisor for a Toronto City Councillor 🏙️, and even directing music for various churches and choirs 🎼. Mathias has also been actively involved in LGBTQ+ advocacy 🏳️🌈, including work with The 519, a prominent LGBTQ+ community center in Toronto.
